New Zealand only
Payday filing lets you file employment information to IR when you pay your employees. Many employers must payday file from April 2019.
If your annual PAYE and ESCT deductions are $50,000 or more, you'll need to payday file from April 2019.
Make sure you check with Inland Revenue to see if you need to payday file.
How is this different to what I do now?
Each time you process a pay, you’ll send your employment information directly from MYOB to Inland Revenue. No more downloading and uploading the Employer schedule (IR348), or submitting the Employer deductions (IR345) to Inland Revenue each month.
Payment dates have not changed
Some things haven’t changed. You still need to make PAYE payments each month.
Set up payday filing
You don’t need to do anything yet. We’ll let you know when you can start setting it up. This will be well before the April 2019 deadline, and we'll take you through it step-by-step.
