If you receive an email with the subject A new document has been uploaded or something similar, this means that your advisor is sending you documents to view and keep with your records.
If several people are part of your portal and they've also been given full access to your portal, then all of them will be able to view all the documents in the Documents tab. Some portal users may have been given restricted access (possibly for a short period) and will only be able to view selected documents.
Enter your username and password, then press Enter.
If you've been given access to more than one collaborative portal, select the appropriate portal from the list on the left. The selected portal will be highlighted so that you'll know which one you're working in.
Click the Documents tab. A list of all the documents that your advisor has made available to you is displayed. Anyone who has full access to your portal will be able to view all of the listed documents.
