Do not delete this page - MYOB Practice navigates to it from within the product

You can edit some of the default details or features of your portal, such as your practice logo.

Haven't set up your default portal details before? See Set your portal options.

To edit your portal details
  1.  Go to MYOB Practice by visiting partner.myob.com (or clicking  on the toolbar of your MYOB AE/AO desktop software).

  2. Click Settings in the side navigation bar. The Portal tab appears.

  3. If you need to update the logo that will be displayed in your client portals, click Edit in the Name and logo section, and then click the icon next to the current logo. You can now click in the logo box to browse and select a different image.

There are some restrictions on your company logo:
    - it must be one of the following file types: png or jpg
    - its maximum file size is 800KB
    - dimensions are confined to a width of 200px and height of 100px.

  4. In the Name and logo section you can edit your Practice Name if required.

There are some restrictions to the Practice Name you can enter:
    - the field can't be blank
    - it must be unique
    - it can't contain spaces
    - it must be 50 characters or less
    - only letters and numbers can be included. The following special characters can't be used: ([~#%&*{}<>?/+|\"])

  5. If the Portal website field is blank, you'll be able to enter the subdomain for the URL your clients will sign into, to access their client portal. For example, https://mypractice.portal.accountants

Click Edit in the Portal section and then enter your subdomain. Note that this can't be changed later, so choose carefully.

  6. If you’d like the ability to show your practice name as a task’s creator and the "From" name on email notifications to clients, you can set up a practice alias.
Click Set up your practice alias to get started, or to change an existing alias, click the icon.

After creating the practice alias, you can select it as the sender of a task when creating the task (Send as field) and you can add it to the Notify list for a task (the practice alias email address you specified will be used). You can also use the alias when setting up the default sender and notify list for a portal

You can choose to receive a copy of all incoming notifications to the practice alias email address. This works well when your practice has a shared inbox, as you can avoid issues when notifications are sent to an employee who is on vacation, or has left the practice. Just select Copy all incoming notifications to the alias email option.

  7. Click the Email notifications tab.

Here’s where you can customise the notification emails that are sent to your clients or received by your practice:

    • Add a picture or practice logo to the email header.

There are some restrictions on your company logo:
      - it must be one of the following file types: png or jpg
      - its maximum file size is 800KB
      - dimensions are confined to a width of 200px and height of 100px.

    • Add text to the email footer. You might want to include a disclaimer, privacy policy, or links to your website and other information.

To preview how the email will look, click Email me an example. For more help with these settings, see Notification settings.
