Minimum wage

The minimum wage changes about once a year, and it's your job to make sure you're paying your employees at least the minimum wage for each hour they work.

The relevant minimum rate applies to all workers, even if they are salaried, paid piece rates, or only work intermittently.

Underpaying employees, even by accident, can cause problems for your business later on. You could end up paying back wages and facing fines for the mistake.
