Attach Notification Template to Reports

Did you know that reports that were created with Report Designers can have Notification Template attached to it? This is very useful if you want the email contents sent out with the report to be more dynamic. This knowledgebase article will show you where it can be set up.

In the Report Designer, when you’re building a new report or modifying an existing report, you can find the Template ID property under the Mail Settings menu. Here, you can specify the ID of the notification template you would like to use with the report.
When the user runs the report and click “Send” to create an Email Activity, the contents of the notification template will be picked up.
