Editing client non-transaction data

Each client’s non-transaction data fields can be edited. The client’s non-transaction data is populated with information from MYOB AE/AO or it can be manually entered.

icon indicates that the data field is linked to the client’s details in MYOB AE/AO. These linked fields can be edited in Non-Transaction Data of Statutory Reporter. The changes made in Statutory Reporter are not updated to MYOB AE/AO. Click 
to reset the changes to the field and return to the MYOB AE/AO data.

Directors, Partners or Trustees cannot be added or removed in client non-transaction data if the Associations feature in MYOB AE/AO is used and if the practice Non-Transaction Data Preferences have been configured. To add or remove a Director, Partner or Trustee, the information must be edited on the Associated tab in MYOB AE/AO. See Practice non-transaction data preferences and the Associated tab for more information.

To edit the client’s non-transaction data
  1. Access the client’s non-transaction data. See Client non-transaction data. The Statutory Reporter — Non-Transaction Data window opens.
  2. Find the data field to be edited. Use the Search field to search and locate the data field easily and quickly. See Searching for a data field.
  3. Edit the data fields as required. On the MYOB AE/AO linked fields, click 
    to reset the changes made to the field and return to the MYOB AE/AO data.
  4. Click OK. The changes are saved.
To edit directors, partners or trustees

If the Associations feature in MYOB AE/AO is being used and the Practice Non-Transaction Data Preferences have been configured, then you will not be able to edit the Directors, Partners or Trustees in the client’s non-transaction data. See Practice non-transaction data preferences and the Associated tab for more information.

  1. Access the client’s non-transaction data. See Client non-transaction data. The Statutory Reporter — Non-Transaction Data window opens.
  2. Select the Directors / Partners / Trustees data category.
  3. To add a director, partner or trustee:

    1. Click 

      to create a new record.

    2. Enter the contact name and select whether the contact is a signatory.

  4. To edit a director, partner or trustee:

    1. Select the director / partner / trustee in the list.

    2. Edit the contact name and /or whether the contact is a signatory.

  5. To delete a directory, partner or trustee:

    1. Select the contact in the list.

    2. Click 

      to remove the contact from the list.

  6. Click OK to save the changes.
