Migration results for MYOB AE Assets 2.4

Australia only

The results of migrating your MYOB AE Assets 2.4 asset register to MYOB Assets are listed in the Migration details section of the Assets tab.

As the migration proceeds you will notice that the statistics for the year, control group, locations and assets will be displayed in the migration results table. You can track the results as they are processed in the order listed in the table. As the results are displayed, compare the values in the Source column (data from your MYOB AE Assets 2.4 asset register) with the Destination column (data that has been migrated to MYOB Assets). If the values agree the status column will display a tick giving you confidence that the migration was successful for that part of the data.

The control groups for migrating the data will be automatically created in the destination folder. Once all the data has been migrated, you can notice that all the assets to that particular control group will be migrated from the source control group to the destination control group.

If asset locations have been migrated, the list of locations can be viewed by accessing MaintenanceAssociations > Locations from the main menu of the Assets Listing page.

If you have any Association types connected with your MYOB AE Assets 2.4 data, the association types will be migrated. The association types are displayed in the Notes section of the Edit Assets window General tab for the asset.

The association types that will appear in Assets notes are in the following table.
