You won't be able to use either software after 15 April 2024. Learn what this means for you

The Corporate Compliance backup settings can only be changed from the Corporate Compliance server.

To change backup settings
  1. Open the Corporate Compliance Utilities Backup and Restore screen. See Backup and restore.
  2. Click Settings on the Task Bar.
  3. Click Change. The Change backup file settings dialog is displayed and you can change:
    • Backup Files Location
To change the backup files location enter in the required path, or click on the ellipsis next to this field to browse to the required location.
The location should be a shared drive, that all the Corporate Compliance client installs can access.

    • Backup Files Retention
Specify the number of weeks to keep the backup files. You can enter from 2 to 52 weeks.
We recommend that you keep backup files for at least 4 weeks.

    • Check for recent backup on opening of Corporate Compliance
Tick Perform backup on opening Corporate Compliance, if the backup has not been taken in the last n days to specify that you want Corporate Compliance to check that a recent backup exists when the Corporate Compliance application is opened. We recommend that this option is selected. The number of days to check for a recent backup can be set as 1 to 9 days. The recommended check is for every 2 days.

  4. Click OK. To return to the Settings window.
