You can exempt a selected company from the Postal Address File (PAF) check by ASIC (see Postal address file (PAF) setting).

The PAF check applies only to business and registered addresses, not to postal addresses.

To exempt an address from the PAF check
  1. Select and open the corporation. See Selecting a corporation. The corporation opens at the Details tab.
  2. Click the Addresses tab.
  3. Click Change postal address file setting on the Task Bar or right-click the Addresses tab screen and select Change postal address file setting from the menu. The Change Postal Address File Setting screen opens.
  4. Indicate whether or not the Business and/or Registered address meets the PAF rules.
  5. Click OK. Any business or registered addresses marked on the Addresses screen as not meeting the PAF rules will not be checked by ASIC.
