Changing joint holdings

Corporate Compliance and Corporate Admin will be retired on 15 April 2024.
You won't be able to use either software after 15 April 2024. Learn what this means for you

The Joint Holders screen is used to:

  • View joint holders of the selected member’s share allotment.

  • Add joint holders to an allotment.

  • Delete joint holders from an allotment.

How to change joint holdings from the Capital screen
  1. Select and open the corporation. See Selecting a corporation. The corporation opens at the Details tab.
  2. Click the Capital tab. The Capital screen opens.
  3. Select the holding to be changed.
  4. Select the member and click Change share issue on the Task Bar. The Share Issue Details screen opens (see Share issue details).
  5. Select the Allotment Details tab.
  6. Click Joint holders on the Task Bar. The Joint shareholders screen opens.
  7. Add or delete joint holders as required.
  8. Click OK.

If you add or delete joint holders and have already notified ASIC of the original allotment, you must lodge an amendment to the previously lodged form (see Amending previously lodged forms (Form 492 and 902)).

How to change joint holdings from the Members screen
  1. Select and open the corporation. See Selecting a corporation. The corporation opens at the Details tab.
  2. Click the Members tab. The Members screen opens.
  3. Select the holding to be changed and click Joint Holders on the Task Bar. The Joint Holders screen opens.
  4. Add or delete joint holders as required.
  5. Click OK.

    If you add or delete joint holders and have already notified ASIC of the original allotment, you will have to lodge an amendment to a previously lodged form (see Amending previously lodged forms (Form 492 and 902)).
