Deleting officers

Corporate Compliance and Corporate Admin will be retired on 15 April 2024.
You won't be able to use either software after 15 April 2024. Learn what this means for you

Use Delete Officer (on the Officers tab of the Corporations module) to permanently delete officers who were incorrectly appointed using the Officers tab screen.

However, if ASIC must be informed of the resignation, use the Appoint or cease officers wizard (see Appointing company officers or Ceasing company officers).

To delete an officer
  1. Select and open the corporation. See Selecting a corporation. The corporation opens at the Details tab.
  2. Click the Officers tab.The Officers screen opens. Select the officer that needs to be changed.
  3. Click Delete officer on the Task Bar, or right-click the Officers tab and select Delete officer from the menu.
  4. When the message box opens: Click Yes to delete the officer from the Officers screen.

  5. Click No to retain the officer.
