My Documents page

The My Documents page enables you to view the documents you have created. For AE, you can also view any documents that require your approval.

To access the My Documents page, click the downward arrow on the Documents 

button on the toolbar. Select My Documents from the drop-down menu options.

The different My Documents views can be accessed by right-clicking anywhere in the tab and selecting the option from the right-click menu.

(AE) You can view more than one option on the window by adding several copies of the window to the homepage and choosing a different view for each copy of the window.

Description

Documents Awaiting My Approval

(AE)

This option is only available if you are a document approver. The window displays all documents that require your approval.

Use the toolbar at the bottom of the page to change the document status. You can print or link a document.

The Due Date field and the Priority drop-down list can be used to filter the list.

This option is only available to employees who are approvers.

My Documents Awaiting Approval

(AE)

This option displays all the documents that you have created which require approval.

The Due Date field and Priority drop-down list can be used to filter the list.

This option would normally be used by employees in the practice where approvals are used, so that they can monitor their own documents.

My Outstanding Documents

This option displays documents that you have created that are still in progress. These documents have not yet been sent for approval or marked as complete.

The Created Date From and To fields can be used to filter the list.

To include file notes in your outstanding list, select the Include File Note checkbox.

You can use this view to monitor your own documents.

My Draft Emails

This option displays any emails that have been created and have not yet been sent, regardless of the status.

The Created Date From and To fields can be used to filter the list.

My Documents To Review

This option is only available if you are not a document approver and displays documents that have been sent to you for review.

The Due Date field and Priority drop-down list can be used to filter the list.

This view is used by managers who review documents created by employees, prior to these documents being approved by a partner.

My Recently Used Documents

This option displays all documents that you have recently used. By default, the 20 most recently used documents are displayed.

The No. Documents field can be used to change the number of items displayed in this list. The listed documents are taken from the Audit Trail settings. For example, where the audit trail shows you have created, edited and viewed the document.

Select the Audit Trail options for actions that you want to be included in your most recently used list. For example, if you do not want to include documents you have viewed, deselect the Viewed option. If you do want to include documents you have viewed, select the Viewed option and ensure that the View action is selected in the Audit Trail settings.

All Recently Used Documents

This option is only available if you are a Document Manager Administrator. It displays all documents that have been used recently by your team members.

Select the Audit Trail options for actions that you want to be included in your most recently used list. For example, if you do not want to include documents you have viewed, deselect the Viewed option. If you do want to include documents you have viewed, select the Viewed option and ensure that the View action is selected in the Audit Trail settings.
