Preparing for migration

This section is particularly useful if you have existing client documents in a Windows directory.

It is important that you identify your current directory structure and how you would like you documents to be saved when you are using Document Manager. Once documents become part of Document Manager’s centralised secured storage, you can fully use all of Document Manager's flexible features.

Practice Manager and Document Manager use a single non-duplicate client code to identify each client in your system. Documents can be migrated into Document Manager based on this client code.
