User applications

The Applications section in the left-hand menu contains applications that have been added by your MYOB Intranet administrator. The My Applications link allows you add applications for your own use and these will display in a separate User Applications sub-section within the Applications section.

How to add your application

 

  1. Click the My Applications link. The User Applications window opens.
  2. Right-click the Applications folder or the required category and select New Application.
    or
    Click the New Application button on the User Applications window toolbar. The User Applications window opens with the Applications option selected.
  3. Enter the Title. The Title displays when making your selection from the Applications section.
  4. Enter a Description.
  5. Enter the full folder and file name for the Location.
    or
    Click the Browse button and select the Location of the program from the Open dialog. Click Open.
  6. Click OK on the User Applications window.
  7. Select File > Exit to close the User Applications window.

    When you close the User Applications window, you may need to refresh MYOB Intranet to see the results of any applications that have been added. Click the MYOB Intranet button on the MYOB Intranet Outlook toolbar (or press the [F5] on the keyboard).

How to launch your application

The applications that you have included for your own use are included in Applications > User Applications.

To launch one of these applications:

  1. Navigate to the Applications > User Applications section.

  2. Click an application to launch it. The application launches in a separate window in the same way as when launched from the Window's Start menu.

How to edit or delete a user application by displaying its properties
  1. Click the My Applications link. The User Applications window opens.
  2. Right-click the relevant application.
  3. To edit: Select Properties. The Edit Application dialog appears.
  4. Edit the Title, Description or Location and file name of the application.
  5. To delete: Select Delete Category from the right-click menu.
