Editing customer details

Changing a customer's details is as easy as opening their record and making your changes. Note that changes won't be reflected in a customer's existing invoices or quotes. For example if you change a customer's address, their old address will still show in their existing invoices, but their updated address will show in any new invoice you create.

To edit a customer

  1. Go to the Contacts menu and choose All contacts.

  2. For the Contact type, choose Customer.

  3. Click the customer name to open their record. Need help finding a customer?

  4. Make your changes.

    1. Tick

      You're not able to change the Contact type, for example from a Customer to a Supplier. You'll need to recreate the contact with the correct Customer type and deactivate the old contact.

  5. Click Save.
