AE Tax permissions

Accountants Enterprise with Practice Manager only

Permissions apply for AE Tax tasks within Accountants Framework and Practice Manager.

Permissions

Certain features of the Homepage and Tax Return tab can be restricted to users.

These features can be found under the Maintenance > Security > Task Permissions options. Select AE Tax from the Product drop-down to display the following options:

Task Permission	Description
AE Tax – Administration	Allows the user to access the Tax Administration screen/ System Release from the Maintenance > AE Tax > Administration menu.
AE Tax – Client tax returns	Allows the user to access the Tax Return tab in the client details.
AE Tax – Create return	Allows the user to create tax returns. Note: This currently applies only to PM/CDS sites.
AE Tax – Homepage	Allows the user to view AE Tax data on the homepage.
AE Tax – Open return	Allows the user to open the return by clicking it on any homepages.
AE Tax – Settings	Allows the user to access the AE Tax Settings menu under Maintenance > AE Tax > Settings.
AE Tax – View all Practice level returns	Allows the user to view details in the homepage for the practice as well as for the users themselves. This will be shown in the right-click options on the controls.
