Accountants Enterprise with Practice Manager only
You can add an assignment template to a number of different clients simultaneously using Maintenance > Assignment > Add Assignment Across Clients.
For example, you could apply an assignment template called Audit 2011 to all clients who currently have another assignment template attached called Audit 2010.
The Assignment Template must already exist. See Setting up assignment templates.
To add an assignment template across clients
Select Maintenance > Assignment > Add Assignment Across Clients on the main menu or Maintenance > Maintenance Map > Assignment > Add Assignment Across Clients. The Add New Assignment To All Clients page opens.
Select the existing Assignment Template attached to clients, on the Create new assignment where client has following assignment field drop-down.
Select the Assignment Template that you want to attach from the Assignment to add to clients that already have above assignment field drop-down.
Select the Add Client Name to Code checkbox. To add the client name to the Assignment Code
Click Add. A Confirm Add message is displayed.
Click Yes. An Add New Assignment to Clients message is displayed stating that the assignment was successfully added.
Click OK.
Click Close.
