Backup

You are now able to back up and restore data from your MYOB application. Backing up your data is an important process that must be performed on a regular basis. This ensures that your valuable data is secure and can be quickly restored if needed. Backups are important for the purpose of retaining historical records and the ability to access information from previous periods.

 It is important that you back up your data frequently (at least once a week), daily if possible. Archive your backed up data for ease of access when needed.

Information concerning each back up is recorded in View backup history.

This Backup feature does not replace your system backup.

Backup options

There are three available options in Maintenance > Backup:

• Back up now

• Schedule backups

• View backup history.

Restoring a backup is performed from the Windows Start menu.
