Copying report sets

You can copy a complete set from My Favourite reports to other users, and, if you have appropriate permissions, reports sets from Practice Favourites.

To copy a report set from Practice Favourites to My Favourites
  1. Select Reports > Favourites on the toolbar.
  2. Click Copy set to my favourites on the Tasks bar.
  3. The Copy Report Set window opens.
  4. Select a report set from the Report Set drop-down.
  5. Click OK. The selected report set is copied to My Favourites.

 

If there is an existing report with the same name in your report favourites, then the report is overwritten.

To copy a report set from My Favourites to Practice Favourites
  1. Select Reports > Favourites on the toolbar.
  2. Click Copy set to practice favourites on the Tasks bar. The Copy Report Set window opens.
  3. Select a report set from the Report Set drop-down.
  4. Click OK. The selected report set is copied to Practice Favourites.

    If there is an existing report with the same name in your report favourites, then the report is overwritten.

To copy a report set to other users’ favourites
  1. Select Reports > Favourites on the toolbar.
  2. Click Copy set to other users favourites on the Tasks bar. The Copy report set to other employees favourites window opens.
  3. Select the report group from which you want to copy the report under Copy a report set from.
  4. Select the report set from the Report Set drop-down.
  5. To copy the report set to:
    1. One other user:
      Select One Employee under Copy this report set to the My Favourites for.
      Click the ellipse button under One employee to select an employee.
      The Find Employees page opens. Go to Step 6.
    2. All users in a certain employee category:
      Select All employee with selected employee category under Copy this report set to the My Favourites for.
      Click the ellipse button on the next line to select an employee category.
      The Find Employee Categories page opens.
      In the Search for field, enter the employee category or part thereof.
      Double-click the required employee category.
      The name is displayed in the selection table.
6. Click OK. To copy the selected report set to other users’ favourites.
To copy a report to other users’ favourites
  1. Select Reports > Favourites from the main menu.
  2. Click Copy reports to other people’s favourites on the Tasks bar. The Copy report to other employees favourites window opens.
  3. Select the report group from which you want to copy the report under Copy a report from report set.
  4. Select a report set from the Report Set drop-down.
  5. Select the Report to be copied from the drop-down.
  6. To select an employee, click the ellipse button in the Employee field. The Find Employees page opens. Find and select an employee.
  7. To create a new report set, select Create new report set and enter a name.
    or
    To copy to an existing report set, select Copy to existing report set and select from the drop-down.
  8. Click OK. The selected report is copied to other users’ favourites.

    If there is an existing report with the same name in your report favourites, then the report is overwritten.
