Task status

Accountants Enterprise with Practice Manager only

In MYOB Accountants Enterprise Practice Manager (AE PM), if you use Schedules, you can add an additional Assignment Task Status.

 The Maintenance  Task Status page enables you to add a new task status, define its display order and set the status to display on timesheets.

If you use Jobs, don't add additional Task Statuses.

If you add additional Task Statuses, the Complete status must not be overwritten. Only change the Display Order field.

To add, edit, hide or delete a Task Status
  1. Select Maintenance Maintenance Map > Assignment > Task Status on the main menu. The Maintenance Task Status page opens.

  2. To add a new status:

    1. Enter the new status name in the first blank Status cell at the top of the table.

    2. Enter the Display Order.

  3. To hide the status on the timesheet:

    1. Click the checkbox in the Hide in T/S column.

  4. To display the status on the timesheet:

    1. Ensure that the checkbox in the Hide in T/S column is not selected.

  5. Select a colour for the task status from the Gantt Colour drop-down palette.

  6. Click OK.

  7. To delete a status:

    1. Click the row containing the status you want to delete and click

       to highlight the entire row.

    2. Press [Delete].

    3. Click Yes when prompted to confirm the deletion.

  8. Click OK to save the changes and close the Maintenance  Task Status page.
