How to turn on JavaScript in Internet Explorer

MYOB Software uses two-factor authentication to keep your data safe. To use two-factor authentication, you’ll need to have JavaScript turned on in your browser. If you’re using AccountRight, you’ll usually be prompted for two-factor authentication an Internet Explorer browser.

Turn on JavaScript in Internet Explorer

  1. In Internet Explorer, click the Tools menu, then click Internet Options. The appearance of the Tools menu varies with the version of Internet Explorer:

    • In IE version 9 and later, the Tools menu is a gear icon on the right side of the browser window.

  2. In the Internet Options window, click the Security tab then click the Custom Level... button.

  3. Scroll down to Scripting, and under Active Scripting select Enable.

  4. Click OK to save this change, then click Yes to confirm it.

  5. Click OK to close the Internet Options window. JavaScript is now enabled in Internet Explorer.
