Index of Capital Returns
Details of non-assessable distribution received as a capital return from shares should be entered in chronological order in the fields provided.
Assets disposed of after 21 September 1999:
- If the Frozen Index method is selected (that is, the index cost base is frozen), the cost base will not be increased, but the distribution will continue to reduce the cost base.
- If the Discount method is selected, indexation is not available.
