Substantiation Notes

In order to substantiate and detail amounts and information entered into a return, two types of substantiation notes are available: Master and Practice Notes are available. See the following for more information:

Master Notes is a set of proforma notes supplied by Tax to expedite data entry and information retrieval. Master Notes can be transferred to become Practice Notes. Both Practice and Master Notes can be edited. In MYOB AE, this can be done using word processing functions; refer to Word Processing.

In both Practice Notes and transfer Master Notes, the mask facility is also available. To access the mask facility, click File > List. From the following fields, select a print format, an output, a note code and a mask from known features of the code.
