You can add a file or a Document Manager file (if you have Document Mana=
ger) to a report, including Word documents (.RTF or .DOCX), Excel spreadshe=
ets, PDF files, and image files.
There is a constraint in the size of the file that can be added to a rep= ort. The file size of the Microsoft Word document is dependent on its conte= nt and on the inclusion of any graphics. So it is difficult to say exactly = what the maximum file size is.
Microsoft Excel spreadsheets can also be added to a report if they are f= irst converted to a Microsoft Word document.
You are able to select exactly where the file is inserted into the repor= t.
=20When you add a fil= e to a report, and the file is only located on your computer, then other pe= ople will not be able to view the added file. If you require other team mem= bers to be able to view the added file, then ensure that its location is ac= cessible to all people that will need to view it.
The file is inserted into the report and the report is re-generated to i= nclude the inserted file.
When you close the report you are previewing, you can choose to save the= inserted document(s) in the report. All saved documents will be made avail= able to all team members who have access to this report.
