AccountRight v19 Plus, Premier and Enterprise, Australia only
AccountRight v19 is not compatible with Single Touch Payroll reporting. If you need to report your payroll activity, you need to upgrade to AccountRight 2018.You might not be able to upgrade if you use these features
However, the following features aren't available yet in the new AccountRight, so if you use any of these in AccountRight v19 you might not be able to upgrade just yet:
Watch this space! We'll have more info about your upgrade options soon.
But don't stress – you've got an extended deferral from STP
If you can't upgrade just yet, we've worked with the ATO and you have been granted an extended deferral from STP reporting until 30 September 2019.
M-Powered Payments users
We're building a new service to replace M-Powered Payments that works with the new AccountRight – but it isn't ready yet.
This means that if you're using M-Powered Payments, you can continue using AccountRight v19 until 30 September 2019, by which time the replacement for M-Powered Payments will be available and you'll be able to upgrade.
However, if you're using M-Powered services and are not using any of the other features not available in the new AccountRight, you may choose to upgrade now and do without the ability to directly transmit payments to your employees and suppliers until the new feature is available.
In the meantime, you'll be able to pay your employees and suppliers electronically using the electronic payments feature.
You do this by setting up AccountRight to create an electronic file containing payment details which you can upload to your bank for processing (known as the ABA file). And, if you set up bank feeds, these payments will be automatically matched in AccountRight.
The choice is yours. If you're just using M-Powered Payments and not any other unavailable features, you can upgrade now. Or, you can hold off from upgrading until the replacement for M-Powered Payments is available.
For information about upgrading see Things you should know before upgrading.
If you can't upgrade because of any of the above, we've worked with the ATO and you have been granted a deferral from STP reporting until 30/9/2019.
Deferral numbers were communicated by email. Keep the number handy in case the ATO get in touch with you about your STP deferral. However, you’re not required to proactively contact the ATO. If you need any assistance in finding the deferral number, please contact MYOB support via Live Chat or by calling 1300 555 123.
