Welcome to the MYOB PayGlobal upgrade manual!

This manual explains the procedures required to upgrade the PayGlobal Application.

Checklist
TitleThis manual assumes that:
  • You are already using a PayGlobal database.
  • You use multiple versions and databases in one Hr.ini file, which is the recommended setup.
  • You have a supervisor user profile and you can run the entire PayGlobal upgrade procedure.
  • You're a member of the sysadmin fixed server role, with security permissions to restore an SQL database.

Supported Operating Systems

The minimum operating systems PayGlobal requires is:

  • Desktop Operating System - Windows 8.1
  • Server Operating System - Windows Server 2012
  • SQL Server 2012
  • .NET Framework – It is recommended that latest version of .NET Framework run time is installed. But the minimum is 4.6
  • Transport Layer Security (TLS) - TLS 1.2

For more information, please see MYOB PayGlobal Infrastructure and Components.

.NET Framework Runtime

Windows 10 (and newer) contain all required components and will run without modification.

For older supported versions of Windows, we recommend you install the latest available .NET Framework Runtime library from Microsoft. Download this from ttps://www.microsoft.com/net/download/dotnet-framework-runtime. This will work for all supported versions of Windows.
