This issue affects all versions of Advanced People. Although weWe've resolved it this issue in Advanced People version 2020.5.6, but will require historical manual data review as per the attached documentation. We've identified an issue where leave accrual doesn't roll over correctly, which stops could stop leave entitlement from accumulating. This issue

What causes the issue

The issue occurs when an employee:

  • An employee has had a pay adjusted
  • That employee also had has an accrual entitlement roll over in the adjusted pay
  • And the entitlement was set up to cap the amount of accrual has a cap on their entitlement accrual amount per entitlement period.

Fixing the issue

You need to review your historical data and manually move some entitlements. There's four tasks in this process, so make sure you do the following procedures in order.

title1. Identify the three pays related to the adjustment
  1. On the Manage Pays screen, find the adjusted pay.
  2. In the Adjusted column of the pay, click Yes. The Related Pays window opens.
  3. Make a note the pay run IDs of the connected Positive Adjustment and Negative Adjustment. Which pay run ID? They both have two: Original Pay and Related Pay.
