This information only applies if you have both MYOB Practice without MYOB AE/AO. After you've created a client, you can assign them staff members to identify who is responsible for that client's work. You need to add your staff members as MYOB Practice users before you can assign them to a client. To assign staff, you'll need to go to the client's workspace and edit the client's details. | - Click All clients on the left side menu bar.
- Click the client's name to open the client's workspace.
- Click Edit contact details or the Image Removed Edit button.
Image Removed In the Responsibility section, Go to Contacts > Contacts list. Search for the client or contact that you want to assign a staff to.
Select their row to open the client details panel on the right. - In the client details panel, click Edit (Image Added).
- Scroll down to the Responsibility section. This is where you can assign a staff member or multiple staff member who is responsible for the client's work.
- From Contacts, select a client from your Contact list and click Edit
or From the Client workspace, in the Details section, click Image Removed. The Client details page appears. - In the Responsibility section, click Assign Select:
- Assign a partner
- Assign a manager
- Assign a staff member.
Select the staff member that will be responsible for the client from the drop-down list. The staff member's name appears in the Responsibility section. UI Text Box |

| You can assign multiple staff members to a client, but only one manager or partner. Click Assign staff member again and select to add another staff member. |
- Once all staff members are assigned, click Save.
- To unassign a staff member, click Image Modified
