MYOB Ledger is designed to replace all your current general ledger software by combining them into a single workflow.

If you have an existing MAS, Accounts or AO Classic General Ledger for your client you can move your data to an MYOB Ledger using the migration function. If you do not have a ledger for your client, you can begin processing your client data in a brand new MYOB Ledger.

You will only need to create or migrate an MYOB Ledger once for your client. In future years, you will only need to add a new period.

Before you begin

  •  set up MYOB logins
  •  enabled MYOB Ledger for your practice
  •  given your employees access to the MYOB Ledger website

  1. Create a new MYOB Ledger for the comparative year (for example, 2015 year).
  2. Create a new period and enter the comparative year (2015 year) closing balance.
  3. Create a new period for the current year and import or enter the current year movements (2016 year).
