This page describes how to replace a file in RetailManager which enables you to print Goods Returned without the "Ext Description".

The steps below detail how to rename an existing file (to keep it as a backup), then replace this file with the one attached to the bottom of this page.

  1. Close RetailManager.
  2. Right-click your Windows Start button and choose Explore.
  3. Browse to the RetailM folder on your computer, by default this will be C:/RetailM. Double-click this folder to display its contents.
  4. Double-click the Dockets folder to display its contents.
  5. Rename the file Returns.rpt to OLDReturns.rpt. To do this, right-click the Returns.rpt file and choose Rename then rename accordingly. This ensures you will have a backup of this file.
  6. Click the file attachment at the bottom of this support note (Returns.rpt) and save this file to the C:/RetailM/Dockets folder.
  7. Start RetailManager.
