| Close all programs. Right-click the your screen's bottom-left corner and choose Control Panel. The Control Panel window appears. At the View by field (at the top of the window), chose choose Small icons. Click Region. The Region window appears. Click the Formats tab. Select English (New Zealand) from the dropdown list as shown below. This option affects how some programs format numbers, currencies, dates and times.  Click the Administrative tab. Click Change system locale. Select English (New Zealand) from the dropdown list. This setting controls the language used when displaying text in programs used. Click OK to save the changes. Restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
