It is important to back up your data regularly. Ace Payroll automatically creates regular backups of your data and saves them to your computer or an external hard drive.
Customers with a support subscription can use our internet backup service. That way if anything happens to your computer - like theft, damage, or a virus - your backups will be safe.
Backing up and restoring on your device
To back up your data to a memory stick or folder on your device
- Create a folder somewhere on your device, e.g. your Desktop.
- Click the name of your memory stick (or folder) in the list, then click Go.
To restore data from a memory stick or folder on your device
- On the left side of the window expand your memory stick or select the folder by clicking the name of your back up folder.
- Click GO to close the window.
