titleWe use the BNZ PC Banking software. Why does the employer’s account suffix not appear on the schedule?

The BNZ PC Banking software uses a 2 digit suffix for the employer’s account number, and a 3 digit suffix for employee bank accounts whereas Ace Payroll uses 3 digit suffixes for all account numbers.

Because of this, if you enter the employer’s bank account suffix in Ace Payroll as 02 it is automatically changed to 002, which the BNZ software will show as 00.

The solution is to enter the employer's suffix as 020 which will then be read correctly by the BNZ PC Banking system.

These instructions only apply to the employer's bank account number. Employee accounts should be entered as standard 3 digit suffixes.
