In MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE), you may experience the error "S6DB32.dll is an old version" when opening a tax return from the Tax return tab or when accessing System Release.

The error usually occurs for non-administrator users and can be caused by the workstation setup not registering this file correctly or, if you have recently installed AE Assets, the AE Assets installer may have replaced the S6DB32.DLL with an older version, dated 13/12/2006.

The current version of S6DB32.DLL is 6.6.6.0. The Date modified for this file version should read 14/10/2015.

To resolve this error, follow the instructions below to copy the S6DB32.dll file from your System Release directory into the System32 or SysWOW64 folder, and register the .DLL.
