As part of our environment compatibility process, MYOB has tested and evaluated the use of Microsoft Windows 10 with the latest versions of MYOB products.

Testing was carried out with Windows 10 configured both a standalone system and also a client machine with workstation installs connected back to a server.

In line with support for Windows 8, please note the following:

  • MYOB AE will only be supported on Windows 10 Professional. 
  • The use of MYOB AE will is not supported on Windows 10 Home edition. 
  • MYOB AO users will be able to use Windows 10 Home or Professional.

Compatibility Status as at January 2016 

A standard installation of the latest versions of MYOB products was performed on Microsoft Server 2012 and basic functionality for each product was tested on Windows 10.  Separate testing was also conducted with a standalone install of the MYOB software on a standalone Windows 10 setup. 

The compatibility testing Windows 10 has been completed for most products and subject to conditions listed below; MYOB certifies the use of these MYOB products (latest version as at January 2016 or newer unless specified below) with Windows 10.

This does not mean MYOB will provide support directly for the various Microsoft technologies including Windows 10 as part of your software support agreement.

Change of Windows title bar alignment, shading and borders

Windows 10 changes the way that some application windows are displayed.  This is a Microsoft change and will impact how some of the MYOB AE & AO are displayed.  Please refer to KB 37601: Title bar alignment, shading and borders are different on Windows 10.
