Once you've configured MYOB Portal and you're able to see all your clients listed, you can Before you can create portals and tasks for your clients, you'll need to do a one-time setup. This includes setting up your practice's portal URL and adding your logo which will be displayed in all client portals you create.

You can then start setting up collaboration portals with your clients. This connection enables you to , and interact with your clients in a secure area, for the digital approval of documents or updates to activities you're doing for them.

The first time that you access your portal, you'll need to do a one-time only set up. Here you're able to set your portal name and include your company logo.

To set your portal options
  1. Go to MYOB Practice by visiting partner.myob.com

    Click Clients on the left.
    As you're setting up your end of MYOB Portal for the first time, the You need to turn Portals on screen desktop software).

  2. After you've logged in you'll go to the Contacts page. The Create your first client portal message displays.

  3. Click Get Started with Portalsset up.
    The Getting started with portals The Choose a portal website screen displays. This is where you'll enter a url for your practice that clients will access and receive updates from.
  4. Enter a url URL for your practice.

  5. Click Next.
    The Personalise your Portals Click Save address. The Add your logo screen displays.

  6. Upload your logo to personalize personalise your client portals and then click Next.

    Click Choose File to select your company logo.

    There are some restrictions on your company logo:

    • It must be one of the following file types: png, jpg, jpeg or gif

    • Its file size
    is limited to a maximum of 800KB
    - dimensions are confined to a width of 200px and height of 100px.Click Upload Logo.
    A successful message will be displayed.
    • can't be more than 800KB.
    • Its dimensions can't be more than 200px wide and 100px high.

    If you don't want to include a logo for now,

    simply click Skip this Step.

    Click Create a Client Portal.

  7. When the Done! screen appears, click Create a client portal. This will allow you to create a collaboration portal for one of your clients. Continue to Step 5 of About your You can continue to step 5 of Create client portals.
