Your pay day using Single Touch Payroll reporting will look almost the same as it did before.

When you click Record at the end of a pay run, you'll be prompted to declare the information you're sending is correct and true. If you see an error, check below for a solution.

Looks like some of your payroll information doesn't meet ATO requirementsSome of your payroll details need to be fixed before you can report this information to the ATO. If you choose to continue without fixing these problems, the report will be rejected by the ATO and you'll need to fix it and send it again.
  1. Click Update details. The  Check Payroll Details  window appears listing what needs to be fixed, before you can continue. 
  2. Fix the listed errors.
  3. Click Check Payroll Details when you've fixed everything.
  4. Click Done, and continue processing pays .

Don't forget to report this payroll information to the ATO later!

Because you didn't sign in to your MYOB account, we couldn't report this payroll information to the ATO.
If you weren't able to sign into your MYOB for any reason, you won't be able to send payroll reports to the ATO.
  1. Continue processing pays.
  2. Follow the instructions in Report Single Touch Payroll information later.

Don't forget to report this payroll information to the ATO later!

If you weren't able to, or canceled out of the declaration while processing payroll for any reason, you won't be able to send payroll reports to the ATO.

 You might get this message if:

  • You're not connected to the internet
  • MYOB has an unknown error

 

Although you don't need an online file, you do need to be connected to the internet

To send payroll reports, you need to be connected to the internet. If you are not connected to the internet, you can still process pay and send the report later (make sure you are still meeting your obligations with the ATO!).

Once you have set up payroll reporting (Single Touch Payroll), and you go to process a pay, you'll see a new message in the Pay Period window.
