When launching AccountEdge you might receive a message advising the app needs to be updated. If AccountEdge is critical to your business, don't upgrade your MAC to Catalina until we've released the new version of AccountEdge. We'll let you know as soon as it's ready.

Apple will be releasing a new operating system called Catalina and the current AccountEdge version won't work on the new operating system. We're working on an update but it might not be ready in time.

If AccountEdge is critical to your business, don't upgrade your MAC to Catalina until we've released the new version of AccountEdge. We'll let you know as soon as it's ready.

Why won't AccountEdge work on Catalina

Catalina no longer supports 32-bit applications. AccountEdge is a 32-bit application and will need to be compiled in 64-bit to work with Catalina.

Important Information on AccountEdge

Last year we announced that we would not be making AccountEdge compatible with Apple's newer operating systems, including Catalina and Big Sur. Due to ongoing compatibility and compliance obligations, MYOB has made the difficult decision to no longer support AccountEdge from 1 April 2022.

However, if you're using an older operating system like Mojave (10.14) or High Sierra (10.13), you'll still be able to access your file and be able to use AccountEdge after 1 April 2022.

To keep you compliant, we have a number of options for you and can even help move your data across to those.
