Superannuation guarantee changes from 1 July 2023

The mandatory superannuation guarantee rate increases from 10.5% to 11% from 1 July 2023. Find out how easy it is to stay compliant.

SuperStream is a government reform aimed at improving the efficiency of the superannuation system. Under SuperStream, employers must make super contributions on behalf of their employees by submitting payments electronically in a consistent and simplified manner.

SuperStream is mandatory for all employers making super contributions, and all APRA-regulated super funds and self-managed super funds (SMSFs) receiving contributions. Learn more about SuperStream on the ATO website.
