Understanding how leads work

UI Expand
titleHow many leads will I get?

Partner search is an organic search portal, which means we don't control the number of leads you'll receive. Instead, these factors determine how many leads you get:

  • your profile listing
  • the services you provide
  • the area you provide your services in
  • the amount of SMEs and clients needing your services.

You can increase the chance of receiving new leads by adding more information to your profile. To update your profile, go to partner search profile.

UI Expand
titleI can't see any leads in Manage leads. What do I do?

Make sure that you've logged into MYOB Practice with the same email address that you used for your partner search profile. We use the email address from your partner search profile to show you your leads in MYOB Practice.

If the leads are still not visible, call partner support (AU: 1300 555 117 | NZ: 0800 696 227) or contact us.

UI Expand
titleHow long do leads stay open?
UI Text Box
typetip

Leads will typically contact more than one practice, so make sure you respond as quickly as possible to new leads

A new lead stays open for exactly 5 days, including weekends and public holidays. For example, if you receive a new lead at 2.00 pm on Friday, that lead will expire and disappear at 2.00 pm on the following Tuesday.

UI Expand
titleCan I reject a lead after I've accepted it?

No. When you've accepted a lead, you're not able to reject it, as accepting the lead triggers notifications in the system's back end that can't be reversed.

UI Expand
titleCan I access expired or rejected leads?

No. When a lead has expired or been rejected, you won't be able to access it anymore.

Managing your profile in partner search
