Corporate Compliance and Corporate Admin will be retired on 31 March 2024. You will no longer be able to use them from this date.

These are the important dates leading up to the retirement:

No. Corporate Admin and Corporate Compliance will be retired.

What do I need to do?

Before the retirement date (31 March 2024), you'll either need to move to NowInfinity or find an alternative provider to manage your corporate services requirements.

1. Decide on your new corporate services provider

You can choose to move to NowInfinity or find an alternative provider.

NowInfinity will send you information on how you can move to Corporate Messenger for compliance services. MYOB and NowInfinity are committed to ensuring a smooth transition process and a positive experience for our customers.

If you choose to go with another provider, you will need to notify us. To do this, call practice support or go to my.myob and create a support request. If you have an Account Manager or Customer Success Manager, you can also contact them.

2. Finish up in Corporate Compliance

Before you move, you'll need to:

  • Complete outstanding lodgements in Corporate Compliance
  • Retrieve your ASIC Agent number and ASIC EDGE login details to give to your new provider. If you're moving to NowInfinity, you'll be asked to provide this to your NowInfinity Implementation Consultant.

  1. Click Agents on the Task Bar. All agents in your practice who have been entered in Corporate Compliance are listed.
  2. Under Agent Name, double-click on the agent. The details will be listed:
    • ASIC Agent Number
    • DIS User ID (EDGE username)
    • DIS Password (EDGE password).

3. Transfer your historical data over to your new provider

If you want to transfer historical data, you'll need to make sure you have the latest backup of your Corporate Compliance database. You can send the backup to NowInfinity when they request it. If you're moving to an alternative provider, you can also provide them with this backup file.

Checklist

  • Log in as a Windows Administrator to the computer or server where MYOB Corporate Compliance is installed and the database is saved
  • Make sure all users have logged out of Corporate Compliance.

  1. Click the Windows Start button and type "backup". Click Backup.

    The Corporate Compliance Utilities window appears.

  2. On the left navigation bar, click Backup and Restore. The Backup and Restore screen appears.

    If you want to change where the backup is stored, click Settings to change the location.

  3. Click Backup Now. The Backup Now window appears.
  4. Select Retain - Keep until manually deleted then enter a Name and Description for the backup.

  5. Click OK. A .bak file containing your Corporate Compliance data is created in the Backup files location.

If you have any issues with backing up your data, you can call practice support or go to my.myob and create a support request. If you have an Account Manager or Customer Success Manager, you can also contact them.

4. Disconnect Corporate Compliance

When you're connecting through your new provider and have confirmed that is working, you'll need to disconnect your ASIC connection from Corporate Compliance.

  1. Click Agents on the Task Bar. All agents in your practice who have been entered in Corporate Compliance are listed.
  2. Under Agent Name, double-click on the agent.
  3. Under Agents, select Change agent details.
  4. In the three following fields, select the text and remove it (press Del):
    • ASIC Agent Number
    • DIS User ID
    • DIS Password.
  5. Click OK.

If you have any issues with disconnecting from Corporate Compliance, you can call practice support or go to my.myob and create a support request. If you have an Account Manager or Customer Success Manager, you can also contact them.

3. Transfer your historical data over to your new provider

If you want to transfer their historical data, you can request an extract of your historical Corporate Admin data from MYOB Support, who can provide that to you or directly to NowInfinity. You can also ask NowInfinity to request for data on your behalf.

If you're not moving to NowInfinity, you can ask for an extract of the data by calling practice support or logging a support call in MYOB Practice.

4. Disconnect Corporate Admin

When you're connecting through your new provider and have confirmed that is working, you'll need to disconnect your ASIC connection from Corporate Admin.

  1. On the left side of MYOB Practice, select Settings ().
  2. Under Practice information, select Corporate Admin.
  3. Find the agent, click the ellipsis (three dots button (ellipsis)) in their row and select Edit.
  4. In the following three EDGE details fields, select the text and remove it (press Del):
    • ASIC agent number
    • EDGE user ID
    • EDGE password.
  5. Click Edit agent.

Why is this happening?

MYOB has recently agreed to sell its Corporate Admin and Corporate Compliance business to NowInfinity, a leading provider in corporate compliance, entity management and legal document services.

With our move to a business management platform strategy, these workflows will now be supported by NowInfinity as part of our partner ecosystem. Using NowInfinity, you can continue to manage your corporate compliance, ASIC affairs, SMSFs, Trusts via functionality available in Corporate Messenger, Super Comply, Trusts Register and the Documentation suite product set.

Corporate Compliance and Corporate Admin will continue to work as normal until 1 March 2024.

From 1 March to 31 March 2024, you'll be able to view historical data, but the connection with ASIC will be deactivated. You'll no longer be able to lodge or download data from ASIC.

From 31 March 2024 onwards, the software will be retired.

Server migrations for Corporate Compliance

If a server migration is performed by MYOB teams in the future, Corporate Compliance software will NOT be installed and Corporate Compliance databases will not be migrated.

MYOB will support you during this transition via our normal support channels, until the retirement of Corporate Compliance and Corporate Admin on 31 March 2024. Once you move to NowInfinity or another provider, they will then provide support for you on their software.
