This issue affects MYOB Advanced Payroll version 2021.1.300.

Issue

When you update an active employee's standard rate in Pay Groups, some Pay Items aren't updated in the standard pay that setup using standard rate.

 

Workaround

  1. Change the standard rate.

  2. Save the changes

  3. Open Pay Items screen for the selected pay item > ADDITIONAL INFO Tab

  4. Untick the Standard Pay checkbox on OVERRIDE VALUE area

  5. Save the changes

  6. Approve a warnings message "Are you sure want to save? Saving these changes will update and recalculate pay details for all open pays and mark standard pays for recalculation." Once done, this will update the rate on employee's standard pay.

  7. Tick the Standard Pay checkbox on OVERRIDE VALUE area, Save the changes again.

  8. Use this workaround on all affected pay items. Untick and Tick the standard pay check box on OVERRIDE VALUE area.

Resolution

We've fixed this error in Advanced Payroll version 2021.1.400.
