An issue has been identified when upgrading your company file after installing:

  • AccountEdge Pro v14 or later
  • AccountEdge Basic v3 or later

Either nothing happens when choosing to upgrade your company file, or the following error is displayed:

Solution

Ensure you're using OS X 10.7 "Lion" (or later) on your Mac. See this Apple support article about how to Upgrade to the latest OS X.
