ANSWER ID:9227

The most common cause of this issue is not having QuickTime installed on your computer. Once QuickTime is installed, you can add images and logos to your form.

This issue can also be caused by image files which are too big (larger than 200KB) or they're the wrong format.

For more information about working with images in your forms, see Images in customised forms.

Using Windows 8 or 10?

If you've already installed QuickTime and your images are still missing or distorted, see our support note Images missing or distorted in PDFs when using Windows 8 or 10.

To download and install QuickTime
  1. If your computer only allows users with administrator privileges to install programs, log in as administrator.
  2. Download QuickTime for free from the Apple website (apple.com/quicktime/download).
  3. Double-click the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
  4. Once QuickTime is installed, restart your computer.
  5. You may need to delete the logo from your customised form and then insert it again for it to display properly.

To check the image size and format

You can check an image's file size and format by right-clicking the image file and choosing Properties. The displayed window shows you the file size (this needs to be 200KB or smaller) and the file format, for example .bmp or .jpg

The following file formats can be used in AccountRight forms:
