Migrating to or creating MYOB Ledger sets up the Chart of Accounts and provides financial data to your client accounting modules, made up of workpapers, assets and statutory reporter.

You only need to create or migrate an MYOB Ledger for your client once. In future years, you can create new workpaper periods by  adding a period .

Before you start

 Ensure that:

  • you have a balanced Trial Balance
  • MYOB logins have been configured with authorisation to migrate the existing ledgers
  • any changes to the ledger in Client Accounting have been posted back to the ledger
  • work for the current financial year has been completed in MAS, Accounts or AOGL.
  • you do not have to roll forward MAS, Accounts or AOGL.

We also recommend that all asset journals have been posted from legacy systems.
