Allowing access to AE/AO Ledger

MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) and Accountants Office (AO) now provides you with an online General Ledger application called AE/AO Ledger. You can create data sets fresh in AE/AO Ledger or you can migrate data from a number of existing MYOB General Ledger applications.

To allow access to AE/AO Ledger in your practice log into the Cashbook website using your Practice my.MYOB login and set each required user as having access to AE/AO Ledger data.

To give a user access to AE/AO Ledger
  1. Open your web browser and navigate to:

    Alternatively, If you have already migrated a Client Accounting file to the online ledger, you can launch the cashbook website by clicking on the Launch AE/AO ledger option in TASKS panel in Client Accounting.

  2. Enter your Practice my.MYOB login credentials and click Sign in. The My Cashbook dashboard appears.

    What's my Practice my.MYOB login?

    If you're not sure what your Practice my.MYOB login is, follow the menu path: Maintenance > Maintenance Map > Online > Practice my.MYOB Settings in AE/AO to find out.

    You'll need to be an Administrator or Super User to access these settings.

  3. Click on the drop-down arrow next to your firm's name, located at the top right of the page and select Manage Firm Users. A list of employees with my.MYOB logins is displayed.
  4. Click in the blank side of the Access field for each user and set as required. The Access column is an ON/OFF toggle field (

    ).

    • If the Access is set to OFF, click the blank side to turn access ON.

    • To disable a user's access, if the toggle button shows ON, click the blank side to set it to OFF.
