Error: "Practice online could not be activated at this time"

In MYOB Accountants Enterprise (AE) and Accountants Office (AO) you may experience the error "Practice online could not be activated at this time" when attempting to set up the MYOB Client Portal.

This error occurs due to one of the following reasons:

  • You have logged into MYOB AE/AO as an unspecified employee.
    Ensure you have logged into MYOB AE/AO with an email address belonging to an employee that has Superuser access in order to activate the portal.
    or
  • Your Firewall is blocking connections.  
    You will need to check your firewall settings, refer to Checking my ā€¸Firewall settings for OnTheGo
