Error: "The document type is not a supported file type"

In the MYOB Practice Online you may experience the following error "The document type is not a supported file type" when attempting to publish a PDF document to the Portal.

This error occurs due to security restrictions on the original document. 

Open the PDF document in Adobe Reader and if it includes the word 'Secure' next to the document name you will not be able to publish this document to the Portal. Only unsecured PDF's can be published.
