Step 1: Check your payroll details
  1. Go to the Payroll command centre and click Payroll Reporting.
  2. Click Check Payroll Details.

The results window appears. From this list you'll see what items you need to fix before you can connect to the ATO and start reporting using Single Touch payroll.

Step 2: Fix errors (if you have any)

Use the information in the results list as a guide to what items you need to fix.

Employee CardsTo fix information in an employee card, you'll need to navigate to the appropriate field and update.
Company Information

To fix company information;

  1. Go to the Payroll command centre and click Payroll Reporting.
  2. Click Company Information.
  3. Make the required fixes.
Step 3: Check payroll details again

Once you've made all the fixes that were in the results list above, go back and check the details again.

  1. Go to the Payroll command centre and click Payroll Reporting.
  2. Click Check Payroll Details.

Repeat until you get a success message.
