Error: "A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time." or "Established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond"

In MYOB Document Manager when sending a document you may receive one of the following error messages:

  • "A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time" or

  • "Established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond".

To fix the errors
  1. Check that the MYOB Indexing Services are running. For further information, refer to Error: "No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it".

  2. If this fails to resolve these issues try rebooting the server.
